CHICAGO STARS – TOGETHER STRONG

The Chicago Stars FC is an emerging professional women's soccer team in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). With a commitment to excellence and community, the Chicago Stars is elevating women's sports in the region and supporting local communities.

For the 5/10 "Together Strong" match, the Chicago Stars wanted to deliver a pre-game mental health activation for fans that would also promote women's health. 

Together, the community relations team and I developed an activation strategy, transforming a 20x20 turf area at SeatGeek stadium into a light yoga instruction space led by NAMI Chicago Wellness Manager Robyn Rabicke. Our goal was to provide an interactive mental health and wellness experience as part of the pre-match Fan Zone area presented by Jameson.

We also collaborated with the Chicago Stars digital team and midfielder, Cari Roccaro, to record a reel encouraging fans to check out the NAMI Chicago activation.

We were thrilled to reach 5,000 attendees, creating a spirited atmosphere for families and individuals alike during the exciting Together Strong match.
